This site provides an overview of the story of our neighbourhood. To learn more, read "St. Clair West in Pictures" by Nancy Byers and Barbara Myrvold, now in its third edition! The book provides an overview of the individuals who built the neighbourhoods that make up the St. Clair Avenue West community and is well illustrated by period photographs, drawings, maps and advertisements. The third edition also includes a chapter on the impact of the different street railways and streetcars that linked residents with the city. Copies of "St. Clair West in Pictures" are available for sale, reference or borrowing at local city libraries.
